The safety and health of our guests and family is our main priority. As such and in line with Scottish Government Guidelines we have put strict Covid-19 measures in place to make your stay as safe as possible.
Returning guests will notice some changes but the warm welcome remains.
Check-in and arrival. We will be operating a staggered check-in so we will ask you before your stay of an approx. arrival time. If things change and your arrival time changes please let us know. This is to allow us to maintain social distancing between guests.
We will also be collecting info for Track and Trace and will be contact with you prior to your stay. A Check-in QR code is also displayed in your room for you to use if you have the Check-in App.
Please use the front gate when you arrive and the side gate for exiting.
Guest Lounge Our guest lounge will not be available during these current times.
Communal areas– unless you are exempt from wearing one guests must wear a face covering when moving around the communal areas of the house. Please also adhere to social distancing wherever possible and please be considerate on the stair way.
House Keeping – To limit the chances of contamination, we will no longer provide daily cleaning for multi-night stays for bedrooms. This can however be provided on request. Your room will be cleaned to the highest standard before you arrive. All surfaces will have been cleaned and sanitised using products tested to EN 14476. Particular attention will have been paid to all high touch points. All bed linen, towels, mattress, pillow and duvet protectors are washed at 60deg and are changed over too. Carpet and curtains will have been hoovered and sprayed with disinfectant. Any non-essential items have been removed from your room. We hope this will reassure you that your room is safe for your arrival.
Breakfast – Orders will be taken the night before and there will be no self service.
Hand Sanitiser– will be available in guest rooms, dining room, front door and bike shed. Guests are encouraged to use these.
Developing Covid-19 Symptoms– You must let us know if you or any one in your party come down with any Covid symptoms. We will ask you to stay in your room and to contact NHS Inform on 0800 028 2816 to arrange a test.
You will also need to advise the NHS Test and Protect team that you are unable to travel home to self- isolate without using public transport and/ or contact the National Assistance Helpline on National Assistance Helpline on 0800 111 4000 as we will not be able to accommodate you for your self-isolation period, if required, due to future bookings. As per Scottish Government guidance.
We will take the advice of the Test and Protect Team as to whether they feel that we have to self-isolate and if we are advised to do so will cancel all bookings for the period we have to self-isolate.
Local relationships are important to us and some are understandably apprehensive about the potential impacts of returning visitors; your thoughtfulness will help reassure them. We would urge all our guests to respect social distancing measures and hygiene protocols when using local services, as well as in the wider community generally.
